Happy Hour Friday: The Worm Bucket
Please say it’s no joke and I’m not going to realize in 2.3 seconds that it’s really only Thursday.
Friday? Phew! Thank Goodness! I thought I’d never make it….
Now don’t start asking me why this drink is called “the worm bucket.” I have no idea. In fact, I’ve never even been to the Prop Stop Bar or on Tickfaw River. Somewhere, some how and at some time C. found this drink online and decided he’d like to try it.
It was a good call because, despite the name, it’s a wonderfully refreshing pool-side cocktail. I thought worm was some sort of allusion to tequila in the mixture, but (mercifully) there is only rum Maybe it’s a vague reference to fishing–is fishing big on Tickfaw River? I’m certainly not the one to ask.
Anyway, point is–it’s good. You should try it. And that’s all I have to say about that.
from Prop Stop Bar on Tickfaw River
3 oz rum
1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz sprite
Mix it all together, serve over ice.
