Happy Hour Friday: Skittles Margarita

So, as I mentioned last Friday, my friend Cindy S. was concocting a margarita to enter into a cooking competition last weekend.  Well, I’m happy to announce that her margarita took 4th place overall!   WooHooo!  You go, Girl!  You’re a Supa-Star 

And to top it all off, she has been ever so sweet enough to share it with us here for Happy Hour.

10 skittles for every 1 oz tequila

Add skittles to tequila and seal.  Shake vigorously and allow to dissolve.  Strain through coffee filter and re-bottle.

12 oz skittles tequila

12 oz Corona Light

12 oz frozen limeade

12 oz 7-up (or sprite)

Mix all ingredients in a large pitcher.  In a blender, combine 2 cups ice to 6 oz of margarita mix.  Blend.  Serves two!
