One of my favorite Christmas gifts was actually one that I gave (even though I loved all the gifts I received). I gave Spicehubby Isi’s Twist ‘n Sparkle to add to his bar gadgets. Although he liked it, I was way more excited to try it out than he was!
Making your own carbonated drinks–Brilliant!
No more boring juices or flat tonic water. What could be better than a DIY carbonating system? Simple, easy, compact. It was love at first sight for me.
I did a little research before I actually bought the Isi product. I looked at the SodaStream, but it was way too bulky for what I wanted. Besides, I’m really not interested in making my own sodas. {I’m trying my best to kick my Dr. Pepper addiction!} Instead, I was really looking for something that wouldn’t take up counter space and be very simple to use.
I really found everything I was looking for in the Twist n Sparkle. There is not much to this gadget. There’s a bottle with a screw top, a carbonating wand and a CO2 cartridge. That’s it!
Add whatever liquid you want to carbonate to the bottle: water, juice, wine, whatever! I’m using lemonade here.
This is the carbonating wand and the CO2 cartridge that will create all the magic.
Put the cartridge into the top portion of the wand…….
Fill to the appropriate line, and carbonate!
Delicious!
It’s really that easy. There’s no clean up and nothing but the wand to store away.
Happy Friday, Friends! It’s gonna be a good one
So here we go! It’s Link Up Time! I’ve always wondered about those things – cause I love sparkling water, but it gets so expensive.

Jen, it’s so compact and easy to use I think you’d get a lot of use out of it. I’ve already enjoyed it immensely.

Love the carbonation thingy! I need to get one for myself! We go through a lot of sparkling mineral water which produces way too many glass or plastic bottles. I hooked up my Jamaican cooler to your hop. Your new toy could be used to make this drink! Have fun and thanks for hosting!

This drink really looks refreshing. I wonder what other types of carbonated drinks you can make from that. Please post more refreshing carbonated drink recipes! I would really love to try and make them on some of my parties in the near future! A really great and exciting post! Cheers!
